For coffee lovers who enjoy roasting their own, Newport Flavors proudly offers several world class selections of Organic Green Coffee Beans. Our company selects coffee beans grown and purchased under fair-trade conditions. The majority of our coffee beans are shade-grown, which further seals in freshness. A coffee plant usually starts to produce flowers 3 – 4 years after being planted. From these flowers the fruits of the plant (coffee cherries) appear. The cherries ripen approximately eight months after the flower emerges, changing color from green to red. This is the time for harvest.
